Cutting-edge scientific research exploration: Precise and controllable lighting to accelerate the tr

Professor Wang from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of a certain university once encountered a predicament in the research of photocatalytic materials: "When we study photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production, the core is to precisely control the light intensity and spectral composition. However, the traditional simulator light emphasizes a coarse step size (5%), and the spectrum is fixed and unadjustable, resulting in discrete catalytic efficiency test data. The project was stuck for two years without any progress." What's even more troublesome is that the equipment operates unstably. The results of multiple tests in the same group of experiments deviate by more than 15%, making it impossible to reproduce and verify the scientific research achievements.

The custom-made solar simulator for scientific research by Saifan Optoelectronics provides a precise solution for scientific exploration. This device supports continuous adjustment of light intensity with an accuracy of 0.1%, and the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared bands can be independently regulated (with an accuracy of 1%), which can accurately simulate the material response characteristics under different lighting environments. Equipped with a high-sensitivity light intensity monitoring module, the light intensity stability is ≤±0.5%/h, and the repeatability of test data is improved to over 99%, perfectly suitable for diverse scientific research scenarios such as photocatalysis, photoelectric conversion, and photovoltaic material mechanism research. Meanwhile, the device is compact in size and can be easily embedded in small Spaces such as glove boxes and laminar flow hoods. It supports interaction with other scientific research equipment to achieve full-process automation of "light - reaction - detection".

With this device, we have successfully developed the optimal photocatalytic material formula. Last year alone, we published three papers in top SCI journals and applied for four national invention patents! Professor Wang was full of praise, "It also supports preset light change curves and can be remotely controlled through the upper computer software. Previously, four people took turns to operate it, but now one person can handle the entire process of the experiment. The project funds have also been saved by 30%, greatly accelerating the process of scientific research achievement transformation."
